I started Sun State Consult because I kept seeing the same heartbreaking pattern—brilliant small businesses and nonprofits in underserved communities being passed over for funding. It wasn’t due to a lack of vision or impact. It was because the grant system often favors those with more resources, connections, and insider knowledge.

My passion for grant equity runs deep. I believe every community deserves a fair shot at funding that can spark growth, create opportunities, and strengthen local economies. Over the years, I’ve watched organizations transform when given the right tools and support to compete for grants—proving that talent, not access, should determine who gets funded.

Through Sun State Consult, I’m on a mission to break down barriers, amplify underrepresented voices, and ensure that deserving organizations can secure the resources they need to thrive. For me, this work isn’t just a business—it’s a calling to create lasting, equitable change.
